Writing 9th- Count the number of newspaper stands or purchase boxes in your neighborhood (Walking distance under a mile) Record the number and tell if it is the number you expected in Journal Read a current article about Poverty (less tha 1 week old) Write a 3 paragraph response (What was the issue or problem, summary of the article, did you agree or disagree tell why and if you have a solution.) Response must be typed (use public library or home computer) Double spaced, 12 Font with Header (Name, Class Period, Date) Staple Article to paper, if article is obtained from internet please print article, a hard copy of article must be turned in paper.
